Letter I: From Louise A. W.

Received at Testimonial Submit Form on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 13:48:55

Hi, my name is Louise A. W.

I have been taking Ezorb for almost a year and a half along with other alternative products. I take eight capsules daily. When I had my repeated DEXA it was at a different location on a different type of machine. Therefore the scores are not a good comparison as I have been told they should be done at the same location on the same machine to have the best comparative results. Although one score improved the other two were minus a very little bit. But here's the good news...

I just fell down a curved stair case of about 12 stairs. Once I reached the bottom I called my husband to inform him that I had fallen. He immediately came to my rescue and to his and my surprise, there were no broken bones, absolutely none! What a way to confirm that I no longer have osteoporosis!

I will continue with Ezorb the rest of my life. Thanks a million.

My Husband has been taking Ezorb Powder for more than 3 years now for bone spurs. They are gone now but I happened to look up Marvlix and he could use the also because it would help him internal. Can he take both Ezorb Powder and Marvlix. He can't stop the Ezorb he needs it to keep the bone spurs away, what do I do. Please reply so I can know.

Thank you very much for the Ezorb. I have told sooooo, many people about you.

Editor: EZorb works on your bone, joint and muscle. Marvlix is for your internal organs, such as liver, kidney, heart and lung. They work together to improve your overall health. There's no interaction between them. It's perfectly safe to take them together.

Letter III & IV: From Suseela D., India

I am thankful to people who are making EZORB, very much helping my aches & pains. I don't know yet how much it helped my osteoporosis. I took fosamax for 7 yrs with various calcium products. Did not change bone density. I have to get one in Nov 09. I am positive it would improve my score. Feel positive reading all the testimonials.

Thanks. I sent e-mails to all my family around the world. The price is high for people in India to buy in dollars & postage.

I am grateful that I came across EZorb on line. I took it for 5mo and of course I walked on in the sand & did some exercises for my back aches due to compression fracture and doing too many tasks.

My bone density has improved the readings of Dexa went in to osteopenia range -2.5 in hips and L1-4 to -2.0. I recommended to many of my friends & family.

Thank you,

2. Interesting Reading: Beer Boosts Women's Bone Density

Drinking beer is associated with higher bone density, regardless of menopausal status, a study of Spanish women has found.

"This might be a result of the phytoestrogen content of this alcoholic drink," suggest Juan Pedrera-Zamorano and co-workers, from the University of Extremadura in Caceres, Spain.

The team examined 1697 healthy women aged an average of 48.4 years and a body mass index (BMI) between 19.0 and 32.0 kg/m2 for disease or medications that could alter calcium metabolism.

The women were classified as pre- (n=710), peri- (n=176), or postmenopausal (n=811) and were asked to complete a questionnaire detailing smoking habits and diet, including alcohol and caffeine intake.

As reported in the journal Nutrition, women who reported drinking beer had significantly higher quantitative bone ultrasound phalange measurements than women who drank wine or who did not drink alcohol (2074.31 vs 2063.10 m/s).

Interestingly, beer consumption was positively associated with higher bone density regardless of menopausal status.

After adjusting for age, BMI, gonadal status, intake of beer or wine, and cigarettes per day, the researchers found that bone ultrasound values were significantly predicted by decreasing age and BMI, menopausal status, and drinking beer.

"We do not recommend the consumption of beer, wine, or any other alcoholic beverage for bone health; nevertheless, we have been able to verify that beer ingestion, a common component within our area's diet, seems to provide bone mass with beneficial effects for those women who had moderate alcohol consumption," conclude Pedrera-Zamorano et al.

Hypothesizing that beer may modify bone health due to a synergistic effect of silicon and phytoestrogen compounds, including daidzein and genistein, the team recommends further investigation into beer and bone density.

Original research was published in Nutrition 2009
